Group Work with Mindfulness Practices
Relational Mindfulness in Groups
Group work can help us understand and illuminate the process of how we come into relationships. Group work can be a more challenging and powerful way of opening the inquiry into personal difficulties and suffering. The course of a group is to develop a contemplative, reflective and exploratory approach to the way we hold experiences of the self and of other. It will include a quiet form of sitting or meditation, experiential exercises exploring the way we relate to self and others in the group. The programme is run over 10 weeks with groups of 6 to 8 people meeting for 1 1/2 hours every week.
